DZ3 Booksigning Sketches

I've been keeping busy lately with filling orders for my latest book, signing and sketching in copies of The Daily Zoo Vol. 3: Healing Together. It's always fun to see what animals people request. Sometimes the requests are very specific, sometimes they leave it up to "artist's choice."

With previous books, I have almost always signed with a felt tip pen. The combination of the paper's slick surface, the small area to sketch in, and the unforgiving nature of drawing in permanent ink can make it challenging at times. With Daily Zoo Vol. 3, however, I've been experimenting with various pencils and colored pencils as seen in these six examples.
